This card is very pretty IRL. The background was done by running a sheet of acetate thru my Xyron machine and applying metallic flakes to the sticky side of the acetate. The image by Stampin' Up! was stamped on a piece of smooth white cardstock using Expressionistic Watercolours technique from TJ Newsletter - December '04. I did over-stamped the whole image once more with black ink to bring out the details a little more. I then adhered the image to a piece of microscope slide and finished off the edges of the slide with gold foil tape.
