Here's a card for Debbie's September sketch challenge. I made it, didn't I? I did rotate the sketch on this one. Hope you like!

Girlie One

Here's my girlie version for Suzanne's August sketch. I was having the hardest time matching my cardstock and papers. Turned out OK, don't you think? Stamp is from Artistic Outpost.

1859 Post Boy

I love this boy! He is from The Queen's Dresser Drawers. It's always a joy to use him. Cardboard and cork board are used. Cancelled postage stamp is from Ma Vinci's Reliquary. This card here is for Suzanne's August sketch challenge (my boy version).

God Is For Us

So, here's my girlie version of Kim Marie's sketch for the month of July. Image stamp is from the Tim Holtz collection. Romans 8:31 is from Stampabilities. I sure love the verse!
This completes Kim Marie's challenge. Coming up next, a card for Suzanne's August sketch challenge. So, stay tuned!

Love You This ... Much!

This is for Kim Marie's July sketch challenge. And I am only 6 days late! Not too bad, huh, considering all that went on in July! Did I tell you, I love monkeys? Most of you also know, I send my 8-year-old a card or postcard every week with some words of wisdom and Bible verses. When I made this, my son, Ty, was definitely the recipient I had in mind. Stamps are by C.C. Designs. Hope you like!

Dad!

Here's my masculine card for Alex's sketch challenge for June. My girlie one was yesterday's post! Main Image is from Tin Can Mail. Sentiment is by Tim Holtz. Background for both is Frog in the Blender, TJ technique 10 - '06 issue. And I thought to add a little stitching around the edges just because Alex always has fabulous stitches on her cards and she is good with them. Truth be told, mine are nothing like her fancy stitches!

Have a great Sunday! Until next time. Be well!

Feel with the Heart!

Thursday, we had a huge storm with wind at almost 90 mph. We lost power for about 16 hours or so. We could hear the power company working with their chainsaws throughout the night. And our wind chimes were going crazy all the while. But all is well now and more cards to show.

This card is for my SBS9 sister, Alex's sketch challenge for June! Image is from the Rummage Bin, Cornish Heritage Farms. Background for the image is done using melted crayon technique. There is actually lots of pink in it. Don't know why the camera didn't quite capture it. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado, was done on a Frog in the Blender background.

Here's the sketch.

I do have the masculine card for this sketch done but haven't have time to take the photo yet. So, until next time. Be well!

Two More Birds - One Stone

My SBS9 sisters, Louise, has a colour challenge from mid May until mid June. Her colours are Blue & Green. Tracy, has a sketch challenge for the month of May. Here's is my take for both challenges. It's a shaker card with blue micro beads to represent sand on the beach. Stamp image is my super star Changito by Stampendous. Oval sentiment, courtesy of dear SBS9 sister, Natalie. Bless you, Sis! Image coloured in with markers and H2O brush during the Royals baseball game :) Hope you like!

Here's Tracy's sketch for May.
Until next time. Be well!
