Here's for a Technique Swap on ISF board called Painted Paper Towel Background. This technique and directions are based on Artist Trading Card Workshop by Bernie Berlin.
I started out by painting a sheet of paper towel with metallic acrylic paint. I used 2 blues and a lilac. Let dry. When dry, I tore the painted paper towel into pieces and layered on cardstock with gel medium. Allow to dry, then trimmed and stamped with this happy little girl from Paperbag Studio. Embellished and I was done.
