92 Christmas Cards for the US Marines

Here's David Mauk, in his full government issue US Marine Corp uniform, holding a shoebox filled with ninety-two Christmas cards and some first class US postage stamps. David is an US Marine in training and today is his last Sunday home for a while. He is leaving Tuesday for a basic training and a possibility of being sent to Iraq or Afghanistan after that.

The cards he is holding are gifts from different stampers I met on line and locally. These cards are meant for the Marines to use to send home and loved ones this coming Christmas season. The young men and women will be far from home during the time that most folks are supposed to be together for family celebration. You can find out about my request for this card in
this post!

Thank you ever so much, fellow stampers, for the most generous gifts of your time, supplies and postage in sending these cards to me to pass on to David and others like him. May the good Lord richly bless you for your kindness! You are very much appreciated!

Have a good evening, one n' all!
