Don't Stop Playing!

We went on a 10-mile bike ride yesterday (the second bike ride in my entire life). And this, for a person who still thinks "I don't know how to ride a bike!", was quite an accomplishment. Boy, I was so stressed, my whole body could feel all the tenseness and every muscle tightened as I grabbed hold of the handle bars and hand brakes to make sure I don't create any scene. My son, Ty, was quite an encourager and thanks to my DH, I had a very cushioned, bubbly type seat he got me for my birthday which spared my behind. We got home, thankfully, in one piece. This little duck by Lindy's Stamp Gang even looks better than me after the trip. I felt all the 42 years of me and I just knew, I was getting old!

The background of this card was another one of the colour-wash play. I ran it thru with Cuttlebug embossing folder and I used the negative embossed side on this card. The image was stamped and embossed with gold EP, coloured in with sparkly gel pens and adhered with foam tape to give it a little dimension.

Have a playful day today!
