This card features the poinsettias stamp from the
Christmas plate over at
I Brake for Stamps. Image was stamped and embossed with gold EP on a coated shimmery paper and was coloured in with Copic markers. I found that Copics work better on a more absorbent paper. I think because of the coating on the shimmery paper, Copic acted more like acrylic paint than alcohol base pens. they still render a beautiful result as you can see here, ha! But if you are looking for a smoother application, do it on a non-coated stock. This is just my 2-pence worth.
Never forget:
Jesus is the ONE and ONLY True Reason
for the Christmas Season!
Until next time, may mojo live happily in your heart, and may passion bloom in your soul. Be well!

Wow! I just love your presentation of poinsettias! I haven't been brave enough to try those yet this year. ***sigh***
You're precisely corrent, Manna!
Copic Markers work much more efficiently and smoothly on a matte-finish cardstock. To me, it seems as though the Copics "slip & slide" around on a polished cardstock. I do use such cardstock on occasion .. but I'm selective as to what I'll be doing with the Whisper White, etc.
Happy Thursday to you!
