For You!

I did this card for the paper piecing technique challenge for the local stamp club. After spending so much time on each one, I'm not sure if I would do it again. It just took way too long to be worth the effort!

Here's how I do it. I stamped the image by High Hopes Rubber Stamps, a Canadian base store, with VersaMark on a piece of white cardstock. And embossed with detailed black embossing powder. Then I stamped and embossed the image again and again on different designer paper. Cut out parts of the image from the designer paper and adhered the parts to the image on the white piece accordingly. I hope I make sense to you who don't know how to do this. Shoot me an email me if you have any question.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great one!

What a great card, Manna! I know it seems like such a lot of work, but the results are so neat! I have a leaning towards all things frogs, so I'm glad your technique had a frog in it...otherwise we might never have seen that little guy so decorative :)

I think truying a simpler stamp image with a big open space and simple cutting...quicker and easier...might make it worthwhile!

I do think it's adorable :)

PS thanks for being you!!
