Mischievously Yours...

This card is not what it started out to be. I did the background for another project but it just didn't look quite right. And being that I never throw anything away just because it didn't go with something I had originally planned for, I salvaged it by stamping this adorable image from Art Journey, a Dutch base rubber stamp company. Flowers were coloured in using Prismacolor© coloured pencils and Gamsol, an odourless mineral spirit. I added a little glitz to the flowers with black Stickles. When I was finished, I knew right away that this card is going to a particular adorable little boy who will turn two this coming March. At least I think his Mimi (grandma) will like it quite well. Am I right, Lynne?

Another happy note, my little brother, from Thailand, is coming in a week! I am so happy I could hardly contain it! Well, he is actually here in the country, in Vermont doing some coffee roasting certification. When he's done he will trek this way and spend a whole week with me and my family. We've planned on visiting many coffee shops around the Kansas City area. And I don't drink one drop of coffee on a normal day. But I'll do anything just so I can spend a week with him. Oh, and I am so looking forward to all the spicy sauces that he might be bringing me! That's the added and so longed for bonus! I'm doing a very happy dance!
